Creativity Cluster

Welcome to Creativity Cluster

Creativity Cluster is a group of seven women artists who live in and around Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Unlike most art groups, we each work in a different medium.

What we have in common, however, is a shared passion for engaging with communities. Some of us work internationally, some nationally, but all of us work locally through the visual arts.

In 2022, we were excited to be working on a collective project called ‘Melbourne: Our Creative Heart’ with funding from a City of Melbourne Arts Grant. You can read several blogs about our planning and experimentation, and view the exhibition online.

Following this exhibition, painter Penny Sharples and textile artist Lindsay Hussey have continued to work together on a new collaborative project. Read the blog about their first year of concept development. They plan another blog for later this year about working across continents, as Lindsay is now based in Barcelona.
